come to the keiller leadership Academy's 2019 California school dashboard report the 92nd video off of a quick overview of the California school dashboard just click on the image to begin the video California school dashboard reports on 11 measures go to that the first 6 of 11 measures are State measures these State measures are based on specific State reported data which include one high school graduation rate academic performance 3 suspension rate for English learner progress five college career Readiness and six chronic absenteeism Siri uses a color code to indicate that performance in order of lowest performing to highest performing red to orange to Yellow to green to blue these color code are based on status how we are performing at this moment standard size and change how much progress was made from last year to the current year the other five out of 11 measures are local measures this information is reported directly from keiller Leadership Academy these five measures are one basic conditions which includes quality of teacher so what do you and curriculum to implementation is academic standards three School climate for parent involvement and engagement and access to courses are rated as Matt not that are not Matt for 2 years here's a snapshot of Kelly's progress as you can see all measures that are relevant to Kaylee appear on the airport by either a color indicator or proficiency level indicator a more in-depth explanation of each measure and indicator will be explained in the next couple of slides here's the report on our academic performance for grades three through eight as reported on the cast test the three areas that are measured are English language arts mathematics English minor progress and implementation of academic standards Kelly is in the yellow for English language arts because we are on average 28.2 points below standard from last year by 16 points Kaylee is in the orange for mathematics because we are 67.8 points below standards and maintain a point nine point increase English minor progress reports that 37 3% of English Learners are making progress towards English language proficiency which is labeled as low progress level Kaylee needs to standard and implementation of academic standards here's a report of Kelly's academic engagement this report measures chronic absenteeism and Kaylee's access to a broad course of study Haley is in the yellow for chronic absenteeism based on the data that 16.5% of Kaylee students are absent 10% or more of the school year while this is a high rate it has declined by 2.5% Kelly has met the standards for Pro access to a broad course of study for escali students College and Career Readiness measure does not apply to KLA because this is only measured in high schools Kelly's English learner progress is not giving a performance color because there was only one year data from the elpac test the graduation rate is not applicable securely because Kaylee does not a high school here is the report of Kelly's conditions and climate this measure consists of the percentage of Kaylee students who are suspended at least this measure also includes the proficiency levels of the basic needs that Kaylee provides parent and family engagement and Kelly's local climate survey Kayla is in the red for suspense because the status reports that 3.8% of students were suspended at least once which is an increased change of 2.2% Haley metal sanders for basic needs it's local climate survey the board is an easy way to take a look at how schools compared to others here is Kelly's report compared to Audubon Audubon is also Cate School located it is considered a demographic least similar School overall Kaylee's dashboard report is favorable in comparison to Audubon here is another dashboard comparison to Bell Middle School Bell Middle School contains grades 6 to 8 so it is less of a comparable School the best way to conduct a comparison of it's a look at the academic performance of just our 6th 7th and 8th graders while you are unable to view that specific data here according to the California Department of Education assessment and accountability report 7th and 8th graders outperformed down Middle School here's Kaylee's dashboard comparison to Fulton Fulton is a K-8 school and demographically similar based on this report overall Kelly outperforms Fulton here's another dashboard comparison to Millennial Tech Middle Millennial Tech Middle contains grade six to eight so it is less of a comparable School the best way to conduct a true comparison of data is to look at the academic performance of just our 6th 7th and 8th graders while you are unable to view the specific data here according to the California Department of education's assessment and accountability report KOA 6th 7th and 8th graders significantly out to perform Millennial Tech Middle here are step-by-step directions on how to use the dashboard on your own this link will take you directly to the California dashboard once you have navigated there you can enter any school or District to get their dashboard report I strongly encourage you to explore the dash on your own if you're interested in learning more than what was provided in this presentation based on her dashboard report KLA admin instructional leadership team teachers Sure Staff in SSC have determine Kaylee's next steps hayleigh will continue to establish next steps using this year's feedback from the El Cap survey so far Haley's next. it has been established are continuing to utilize the elk app to monitor program progress maintaining current English language arts instructional practices in grades 3 through a monitoring the progress of early labor development practices in grades K-2 to monitor the progress of ELD programming and practices in grades K through 8 increase Mass intervention practices in cave through 8 implementing supplemental math resources maintaining wind group programming maintain reach intervention programming hayleigh will continue to revisit restorative increased K through 8 we will maintain character development and leadership programs in K through 8 and Kaylee
